Summoning The Formless was born early September 2024 and yes…yet another project…

I have always had a fascination of the unknown, I am also very entertained by the fear of the unknown as in the supernatural and paranormal. 

I've been influenced a lot by these subjects through out My Life and figured I'd like to put that influence into Music and so the song/concept writing began, it was time to bust out some riffage that would twist and turn it's way through chunky Death Metal riffs into shrill Black Metal riffs into epic moments of melody all with a dark and menacing overtone.

I also wanted to showcase My voice more in this project, low gutturals, high fry's, clean singing as well as low menacing Latin chanting but not as a backing or effect but to use chanting as the main vocal in those parts.

As always everything I write is spontaneous and organic I record as I write, I don't like to spend to long over developing riffs melodies or beats, the most time spent during the writing process is spent on getting the lyrics right and laying the vocal parts.

What to call the style? fucked if I know! ‘Paranormal Blackened Death Metal’ maybe? nothing like a subgenre to get Yourself out there lol…
